October 2024 - The Landscape Assessment Study
In March 2024 Liz Lake Associates, a specialist firm of Landscape Architects, were commissioned to produce a Landscape Assessment study.
The study is in two parts: The Landscape Assessment Report and an appendix on Local Parish Character Areas.
The report on Local Parish Character Areas was completed in July 204 and the Landscape Assessment Study was completed in October 2024.
July 2024 - The Design Guidance and Code Report
In Feb 2024 AECOM, was commissioned to create a Design Guidance and Codes report for the Village.
This was completed in July 2024.
May 2024 - The Housing Needs Survey
During Spring 2024 a Housing Needs Survey was undertaken by RCCE (Rural Community Council of Essex).
The HNS report and recommendations were completed in May 2024
October 2023 - The Residents Questionaire
The Residents Questionnaire was distributed to 650 homes and businesses in the Village in September 2023.
The deadline for responses, which could be either written or electronic, was 23rd October.
We received 182 responses and these responses have informed work on the Neighbourhood Plan.
An overview of the results was published in Village Views in December 2023.
