Neighbourhood Plan Update: Moving to Examination and Referendum
The Regulation 16 for the Little Hallingbury Neighbourhood Plan (LHNP), which ran from 19 February to 2 April 2026 has now closed.
Thank you to everyone who took time to read the Plan and share their views. Your feedback is important and will help shape the final version of the plan.
The plan is now undergoing independent examination. An independent examiner will review the Plan alongside all comments received during the consultation and will produce a report in due course.
Following the examination, and subject to the examiners recommendations, the Plan will move forward to a local referendum. This will give all eligible residents the opportunity to vote on whether the Neighbourhood Plan should be brought into force.
If approved by residents at the referendum, The Plan will become the official planning guide for the Village, helping shape future development.
Updates will continue to be provided as the Plan progresses towards the referendum.
